Last week they opened at 0315 and let people in to sign in to get an appointment same day.
THAT WORKED TOO GOOD.
this week they did not do that. 4 hours until this place opens and there's about 34 people in line at 03:58am standing in the cold to get an appointment. the alternative is wait schedule over 30 days out when they only gave you temporary Tags that last 30 days.
what do they expect people to do?

Update. the opened the building at 0500 to the 40 ish people that were here at that time. we got put on a list for an assigned time to Come back later

Very professional, respectful and easy to work with. During my time getting my temp plates everything was very smooth, and I learned a lot and during my time getting my permanent plate's was also great. 10/10. Long as you are respectful towards them you will have a great time.

If there was an option for zero stars, that would be my rating. These people do whatever it takes to take advantage of American service members because they know it’s the only place service members in the area can go to. They are unhelpful and very rude. I have been trying to get a car registered for over 3 months now while I’ve been TDY and there always seems to be an issue and they can’t help me or my wife. This place makes a PCS to Germany an absolute nightmare.

There is not an organized way for walk-ins, they don’t work full days, and they only have five people working in a building that has over a dozen offices… whoever is running this place needs to be fired because they could hire more people so there doesn’t have to be over a hundred people waiting to get an appointment from two different posts. This garrison is horrible.

I have consistently encountered challenges when attempting to secure an appointment or communicate with the staff. The interactions have been marked by abrupt and dismissive behavior, with little effort made to accommodate customer needs. In particular, the employee at the front desk exhibits a concerning lack of professionalism, often dismissing inquiries in a manner that feels inconsiderate and unwelcoming—surprising behavior for someone in a customer service role.

When redirected to another staff member, the experience was similarly disappointing, marked by curt responses and a lack of courtesy. These interactions fall far below the standard of respect and professionalism expected, and they tarnish the reputation of what registration at Grafenwöhr should represent.

Absolutely terrible experience. Wednesday walk in has people waiting for 4 hours. Appointments are 3+ weeks out. The people there don't care. We walked in to see if someone canceled and we could be seen. The was a no-show while we were there and they said "we don't do fill in spots".

Probably the absolute worst process with people who don't care I'd you have a mode of transport or not.
